This gorgeous rammed-earth cottage is super close to Dunsborough town & Geographe Bay; both walking distance. It's a small home and perfect for a single family with either young children or teens as it has a huge backyard and alfresco area, a smart TV and Wi-Fi.
Past guests have loved the convenience of walking to and from town after evening meals or shopping, yoga and other outings and not having to compete for parking! Stylish and relaxed, it’s a great small family home!
The Space.
Wintersun Cottage is a quaint, rammed-earth home on a generous-sized block and surrounded by a mature garden, with lots of trees, bamboo and citrus trees.
Inside, there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living area, kitchen and laundry. The kitchen has a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, stove top, oven and large fridge, plus, an array of cooking utensils, pots and pans and crockery to prepare home cooked meals.
A BBQ and undercover alfresco area is the perfect entertaining area, or location for family meals.
The open-plan living area has a potbelly for winter, plus dining room table, TV and couch. Down the hall and there are three bedrooms, a laundry and two bathrooms. Each room comes with bed and bath linen.
A permanent tenant lives in studio at the rear of the property but you are unlikely to come into contact with him as he works away, and his entry (and yours) is separate and private. Wintersun Cottage is a great small family home and as the yard is secure so we will consider pets on a case by case basis. Please contact us in regards to this.
The home can easily accommodate a family or 4 or 6 or somewhere in between! This home is also listed as a one-bedroom retreat for a couple only under the listing name, Wintersun Retreat.

Guest Access.
Wintersun Cottage is set up for guests use only and therefore, guests have access to the whole home and surrounding garden. There is a studio in the back corner of the property with a long term tenant who resides there, but works away a lot. His area has a private yard and entry so you are unlikely to come into contact with him.

Location.
Beside the calm and clear waters of Geographe Bay, the pretty town of Dunsborough is a favourite "down south" family holiday destination. A short walk or scenic drive brings you to secluded coves and stunning coastal trails, with local award-winning wineries and breweries offering the perfect excuse for a lazy lunch.
This cottage is walking to distance to town and a short hop from some of Western Australia's best swimming beaches, including pretty little Meelup, the sweeping sands of Eagle Bay and the sheltered turquoise waters of Bunker Bay.
Dunsborough itself was proclaimed as a town in 1877 and, until the mid-1950s, was no more than a few beach shacks. Today, it boasts a vibrant arts scene, with live music, widely-renowned art galleries and bustling summer markets.

Clean, convenient (walking distance to town), practical space with a great outdoor bbq area! We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy house in the heart of town. Lizzie is a great host and check-in/out was easy and hassle free. Thanks for having us Lizzie!

Really lovely family place. We were two adults and three teenagers. Very conveniently located for teenagers who want a bit of independence - very close to town and beach. Cozy and clean house with comfortable beds.
